I love this time of year, WrestleMania. I have email chains running with my friends and discussions with my dad and uncle. WrestleMania XX9 was hosted today. I don't know if i will get a chance to watch it, but the discussions around it keep me going.
I think the actual event will be a bit disappointing. The matches seem predictable on paper and there is no match that is an absolute standout as been on most cards. Nonetheless, I suppose events with little expectation have the most room for pleasant surprises. It feels like all the wrestlers I like are going to lose this year (Rock, CM Punk, Jericho, Hell No) but that is the way the cookie crumbles.
I have avoided all results and web articles in the hope I have the chance to see at least some of it in the next day or two. You never know!
