I've had an action packed 24 hours.
Last night, I played poker at a different venue. Its a 45 minute walk away and had a quite a lot of people that I knew there. I impressed myself and played really well, until we made it to the last 3. I took a few too many risks and busted. Still finished up winning $120 but regret not pushing for a deal.
The downside of finishing so late in the tournament is that I didn't get home until well after midnight. I wake up at 5:30 AM and regret missing out on sleep. To make things worse, the first 2 hours of my work day was spent on an emergency and that did not go as smoothly as I would have liked.
The icing on the cake was once I finished the emergency, went running in the direction of my favourite barista late in the morning, only to discover that he was sick, so had to settle for a weak and crappy coffee from his replacement.
Needless to say that I'm pretty tired now. About to try and accomplish a 2 hour walk then will get a good sleep.
