Trouble in Paradise.

I spoke to my middle sister yesterday and learnt that one of my cousins has separated from her husband. She was married quite young, almost straight out of school, and had her first child a few months later. She now has 2 sons, both under 5. This is not a complete suprise to me, my cousin often depends on her parents and her husband is a great talker and full of promises, but rarely delivers. They live a few houses away from my middle sister and whilst it is in my nature to keep my distance, have the impression from my sister that they are rather a high maintenance couple.

Separations and divorces are relatively uncommon in my family. I have an uncle that divorced 20 years ago and another that I rarely see divorced quite recently, but I see my parents encounter problems often and they deal with it. They have been married 38 years and had their fair share of issues and have always worked their way through it.


I hope my cousins work through their issue for their childrens sake. The kids are always the silent victims.
