We are Family

I thought I'd take this opportunity to give dear blog an insight into my family.

I am the oldest grandchild on both sides of my family. I have 2 sisters (Whom I will refer to as middle and youngest in this blog). Youngest sister is married and in her late twenties. Middle sister is single and lives alone with her dogs. Middle sister is definitely the wild party animal.She is also very stubborn (a family trait). Youngest sister is more placid and creative, but can easily slip under the radar.

I live at home with my mum and dad. both my sisters have moved out of home and I'm the last man standing. I have one grandmother left, my fathers mother. Her english isn't great but I visit her most Sundays (as I did this morning). My father has 2 brothers, his older brother is married with 2 kids, his younger one is divorced and is now my nonna's full time carer. Hi also has 1 daughter which he hasn't seen in 20 years and now lives in the Gold Coast.

My mothers family is a little more fractured. Both her parents have passed away, along with one of her brothers. She is one of 7 children. He has an identical twin sister who lives 10 doors down from us. She has another sister and 4 brothers, however, the family is not in speaking terms and I hear very little about them.

So that is my family in a nutshell. I'm sure as this blog develops you will be hearing lots more about them.
